Datrend Systems Inc. is a Canadian
based biomedical engineering company. Beginning in 1991, the design team has
focused on developing and manufacturing leading edge biomedical instruments
and devices for hospitals, clinics and medical equipment manufacturers. We
have since expanded to service global markets and a diverse customer base
with innovative products.
The company's first product, Infutest 2000, provided very fast and accurate
measurement of IV pump infusion rates and was quickly followed by the
development of Oxitest, a hand-held simulator of SpO2, and an oximeter
sensor tester.
Through these and other innovative, patented developments, Datrend has
developed unique expertise in the research, development, prototyping and
manufacturing of medical devices and electronic instruments. Datrend Systems
Inc. markets this experience to both start-up enterprises and established
companies on an OEM Contract basis. Currently we are engaged in the
development and manufacture of several very different medical devices built
to international standards. Datrend's clients in Canada and the US benefit
from our various skill-sets in optics, mechanics, plastics, instrument
packaging, electronics and software. Our products are exported to more than
